The Smith Family

I admit to being slightly biased when I say this family is drop dead beautiful.  This is my sister's family and just look at them.  It was a pleasure spending time with them and taking a few photographs of them all dressed up.  These kids are such good sports even though we kept making them smile when all they wanted to do was play in the fields around them.  Also good sports for dealing with the blood thirsty mosquitos.  Those things were out in force that night.

Derek and Paige

Another baptism shoot.  This one was for Derek and Paige, my nephew and niece.  They are so cute and so hilarious together.  Let me tell you there was a lot of giggling and a lot of telling me they didn't want to put their arms around each other!  I liked what we were able to get in a short time and I just can't get over how much fun these baptism shoots are.

Seriously though, how cute are they all dressed up?

Abby's Baptism

My sister asked me to take a few shots of her sweet daughter for her baptism.  I was so honored to do this for my niece.  We decided the Sacramento Temple was the perfect location and it was.  Sadly, it was a freezing cold day.  Abby was a trooper and never complained once.  She kept shivering and then turning on the charm and smiling like it was warm out.  I'm pretty sure this gorgeous 8 year old showed up every one of Tyra's Top Models.

Don't you think she's a beauty?

Lindsey & Jose

I had so much fun with this shoot.  Lindsey and Jose were so in love you could just feel it.  They were naturals in front of the camera and needed no direction at all.  Plus, they are a beautiful couple.  Here are a few of the images we got.  Such a good looking couple, right?

The Brown Family

My husband and I met two members of this family when we went to UCDavis.  Then, we got to meet their sweet little boy - born just weeks before our son.  I was lucky enough to meet her family and take all their photos recently.  I must say, they were such good sports and all seemed to really enjoy their time together.  It is always heartwarming to see siblings laughing and having a good time whether they are little kids, in their teens or adults.  I also loved how in love everyone was with grandson #1.

I had a lovely time taking these photos.  It was so nice to catch up with friends that have moved away and sit in amazement at how much their little one has grown.
Please note the two engaged lovebirds.  I can't help but smile when I am around engaged couples.  Such a unique time in their lives and so full of love for each other.
